Ride for Magnus

On July 29, 2023, 17-year-old Magnus White headed out for a training ride in Boulder as he was preparing to represent Team USA and the World Mountain Bike Championships in Scotland the following week. He never made it home, struck and killed from behind along the side of Highway 119.

On Sunday, just over a year after his death, 4,000 cyclists gathered for the Ride for Magnus, organized by his parents and their White Line Foundation. These 4,000 individuals came together to remember Magnus, and to show their support for the mission of The White Line Foundation, which aims to increase protection of vulnerable road users by pushing for additional vehicle safety features and improved roadway infrastructure, and to increase penalties for careless and reckless driving.

It's so great to see the cycling community come together like this. Let's hope this can start to lead to some much-needed changes.

RacerShots had a couple photographers out there to photograph this event.  You can find links to their photos below.
